Black Rose [Reference]

I have created lots of ponies, and well I'm not stopping, but I do notice that the ponies I have created, they all seem to be somewhat generic, and could possibly fit the show (it is the best way I can describe what I'm trying to say ... :/ don't mean to sound over confident). I like "following the rules" when it comes to making OCs but ... I've been doing it for quite sometime and I was in need of truly expressing some more creativity. 

I did not create this pony, I adopted it from GloriaJoy, give her credit for the design! I fell in love with this pony and I simply had to have her!! I did alter her look though. I wasn't too fond of the feathered tail and neck or the dots going down her legs, they were a bit random but none the less, this pony was gorgeous!

I do have two story ideas for this pony but I'm unsure which to make her official bio...

Story Idea 1:

 The father use to be an apprentice for a local wizard. The wizard trusted him very much with his research, studies, and his discoveries. And the young stallion knew this, but he was greedy. He was offered 3 bags of bits by a not-so-successful witch if the young stallion would steal the wizard's record book and handed it back to the witch. He does so but the witch had deceived him and made the stallion take more and more stuff from the wizard. The wizard finds out and catches the stallion in the middle of his heist, ashamed and disappointed, the wizard places a curse on the stallion that his first child will be the burden of the family. Many years later, the stallion falls in love, gets married, and is now about to see his newborn child. When he gets a glimpse, he was in shock, and as the curse said, she was a burden. Having a foal or filly with a dark coat, that is close to black, it is considered evil, bad luck, and no pony was accepting of it but her mother as. Her mother did not care how her filly looked and she loved her very much. She basically alone raising the filly, since the father couldn't stand the child. The mother and Black Rose had a beautiful mother daughter relationship! While Black Rose was still young, she came across a wizard. This wizard was shock to see a pony of such appearance and wanted to find out more about her. The wizard happen to be the same wizard Black Rose's father had betrayed years ago, and the wizard, when he finally realized who she was, laughed knowing that her father is going through a tough time. Rose and the wizard grew close and she became his new apprentice. She enjoyed watching him make potions and asked if he could teach her about potion making. She soon discovers that her true talent is to make potions that would be helpful for ponies whether its for health or a harmless prank, she has it. She becomes known as the Potion Mare of Ponyville and is successful at making a small business.

Story Idea 2: 

The mother falls in love with a Changeling, but both keep it in the down low, so no pony find out about their affair. They eventually have a daughter and it is obvious of what she's been doing in secret. The mother loved her young filly very much but sadly Black Rose never got to meet her father. The Changeling had told the mother that he had to go back to the hive and when he did, he simply did not return. The mother has mixed feelings about his real intentions and doubts that he truly loved her. But she quickly lets it go, and gets busy on raising her child. Black Rose always had a thing by taking mom's spices and mixing them together in boiling water. It was a natural talent of hers to make potion like beverages to keep both of them healthy. She later discovers that her talent is to make potions and natural medicine with simply over the counter remedies using spices, certain plants/flowers from the garden, and having the knowledge of how and why her potions are what they are (Hope that makes sense). She creates a shop and sells her potions to every pony.
